Rotary Club of Keilor Supports Medical Equipment Recycling

Rotary Medical Equipment Recycling and Re-issue Programs

We need your help to help others
We have an excellent health care system in this Australia, but sadly some people slip through the cracks.  At a time when they are most vulnerable, people find that they have to hire or buy the medical equipment they need in their home and to help with their mobility.
Some people can’t afford to do this.
Rotary is helping to solve this problem by gathering quality reusable medical equipment that people no longer require and providing it for disadvantage people, who select what they need under guidance from Medical Professionals.

If you have medical equipment you no longer require please donate it by contacting our club by using the contact us form on the website and use the "Medical Equipment Reissue drop down box"

The equipment will be checked, parts replaced if required, cleaned and made available for these projects.
Rotary Medical and Mobility Aids Re-issue Program     The equipment is held in the Rotary Donations In Kind Store at West Footscray.  It is available for free to Health Professionals who help select suitable goods for their patients.  The goods are supplied to the Doctors not the patients.
Rotary and Allied Health Re-issue Program    Operates from the Rotary Re-issue Store in Sunshine Hospital.  Similar to the above the Allied Health Team helps their disadvantaged patients to select free medical equipment to suit their needs to take with them when they leave hospital.
Rotary Recycling and Re-issue the better alternative to landfill
