High Tea in support of SIDS

A very successful High Tea was organised by members of our Rotary Club, the event was a fundraising event in aid of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Fifty-three members and friends attended enjoyed the High Tea which was held on Sunday 27 May at the Aberfeldie Bowls Club.
MC for the day was Liz Beattie, who told of a personal story of how an infant death had affected a close member of her family, this story helped set the feeling as to the relevance of this fundraising event for SIDS.  Approximately $1600 was raised from the High tea and a raffle held on the day. Due to the success of the event it may be held again next year.
Special thanks goes to Ted & Carmel Cunningham, Mary and Joe Engert, the Aberfeldie Bowls club and other members of the Keilor Rotary Club who made this a very enjoyable High Tea.
